I should have started these notes for you long before you turned 5, but I didn't and I'm sorry.

I'll do my best to go 'backwards' and post as much as I can remember as I'm sure you will be entertained hearing about yourself as a baby, toddler and kid, one day.

You have made my world a better place and you have made me a better person. I love you.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Dear Weeb,

It's so nice to finally meet you.

But did you have to keep us waiting so long? Ten days overdue is a cruel thing to do to a pregnant momma, especially with Christmas fast approaching!

I'm sure this is foreshadowing in regards to your personality - everything in your time.

And know this, the clichés are all true - I never knew I could love anybody as much as I love you and I cannot fathom how the world ever turned without you in it.

YOUR NAME

I was in the shower after my ultrasound today. I was thinking about you.

It was as though you were with me (which I suppose you were) and said to me, "Hi Momma, my name is..." And I knew your name.

I went to talk to your Daddy. I told him we had to talk about your name again. He seemed to know exactly what I did, at the same time. We knew your name.

I would spend the next few months wondering if you were a boy, wondering if I was wrong about your name, wondering if I had just imagined it.

But I really believe that you told me your name.

We got to hear the heartbeat today and SEE you!

I'm still in shock.

But beyond a doubt, this has been the best day of my entire life.

WEEB

We have agreed to nickname you WEEB.

It is a name that we found in one of the baby names books. Daddy and I had a good laugh about it. I think it's a perfect nickname, short for 'wee baby'.

BABY NAMES

We have been looking at baby names.

Wonko and I do not agree on many names. For boys, we like Marcus and Harrison. For girls we like Lilith, Lillian and favored Erin most. There is one name that we liked, a few years ago, but because of a popular TV show, we thought that name, being so pretty, would become too popular.

We will not officially name you until you are born.

I still do not believe that you are real.

Saturday morning. I took a pregnancy test when I got up around 6:30 this morning. I think I knew I was pregnant but just didn't think I could be. I couldn't quite make sense of the pregnancy test because the line that means pregnant was really faint. I made Wonko take me to a walk in clinic.

Pregnant.

APRIL FOOL?

It is April Fool's Day.

I suspect I am pregnant.

Nah, I couldn't be pregnant.
